Admission to a graduate program at UCM is a two-part process. First, students must be admitted to the Graduate School, and if they are successfully admitted, their application is then forwarded to the department program of their choice. That department then makes a recommendation on admitting the student to the degree program.

Students applying to the MBA program must have a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and a minimum score of 400 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). In addition to achieving the minimum scores, students must achieve an admission score of at least 1000 based on the formula undergraduate GPA X 200 + GMAT Score. For students graduating with a degree in business from an institution accredited by AACSB International with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or above, the GMAT requirement is waived.

Students applying to the MSIT program are granted entrance on the basis of their academic aptitude and potential, which is evaluated through academic record, work experience and test scores. Applicants must have a minimum undergraduate grade point average of 2.5, and a minimum GRE score of 1000 (verbal + quantitative) or a GMAT score of 500. Exception may be granted, on a case-by-case basis, for candidates who have extensive professional experience in the field. These students should submit a resume for review.

Students applying to the MA in Accountancy program must have a minimum undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 and a minimum score of 400 on the Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT). In addition to achieving the minimum scores, students must achieve an admission score of at least 1000 based on the formula undergraduate GPA X 200 + GMAT Score.

Students applying for any of the three graduate programs at UCM's Harmon College of Business must have a bachelor's degree. Prerequisite degrees must be from institutions accredited by agencies recognized by UCM.

Applicants must submit an online application form, a $30 non-refundable application fee and arrange for official transcripts from all colleges or universities they have attended to be sent to the Graduate School. Students may also print a hard copy of the Graduate Application for Admission and mail it to the Graduate School. All application materials should be received by the Graduate School at least three weeks prior to the beginning of the semester in which the student wishes to register.

International applicants must submit a signed application for admission and a non-refundable $50 application fee, payable to UCM. Priority deadlines for the receipt of all admission materials are fall semester: May 1, spring semester: October 1 and summer semester: April 1. Applications received after these deadlines will automatically be processed for the following semester. International applicants must also submit official academic records from all secondary and postsecondary schools attended, whether or not a degree, certificate or diploma was earned. Applicants are also responsible for submitting a declaration of financial status and their TOEFL test score.
